Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio and the NAB Leadership Foundation have extended the application deadline for the 2026 LAUNCH Mentorship Program through November 13, in support of women pursuing careers in broadcast engineering and tech.
For the first time, eligibility is open to women working for broadcast technology partners and vendors, in addition to women working for broadcast groups.
Launched in 2023, LAUNCH pairs a rising professional with an experienced industry leader for one-on-one guidance, professional development, and deeper exposure to the technologies and operations behind broadcast and audio. The selected mentee will learn about FCC compliance, RF systems, EAS, IP-based broadcast systems, automation, and network operations, along with IT, remote broadcasting, digital audio, streaming, and systems integration.
The mentee will also have the opportunity to attend the 2027 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The program is designed for women working toward Certified Broadcast Technician certification, advancing an existing engineering career, or building expertise in the technologies behind modern broadcasting.
Applications are being accepted through November 13 on the program’s application page.
