One first-time Country Radio Seminar attendee is about to get a foot in the door through the 2027 Rusty Walker Scholarship. The recipient will be recognized during CRS 2027 and will receive full registration, round-trip airfare to Nashville, and hotel accommodations.
Established in 2012 in honor of the late Rusty Walker, a former CRS board member, Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee, programmer, consultant, and mentor, the scholarship recognizes radio professionals and provides opportunities to connect, learn, and grow within the country music industry.
The application deadline is Thursday, November 12. Eligibility is limited to full-time radio station employees who will attend CRS for the first time. Applicants must complete the online application and submit an essay explaining why they should be selected as this year’s recipient.
CRS 2027 is scheduled for March 17 to 19 and will bring together professionals from across the Country radio and music industries for three days of educational programming, networking, panels, workshops, and events.
CRB also reopened the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship, which closes October 22.
Apply via the Country Radio Seminar website.
