The Garden of Love, a new syndicated show from platinum-selling R&B artist Raheem DeVaughn, has taken root at Urban One’s Majic 102.3 (WMMJ) in Washington, DC, as well as Atlanta’s WAMJ, Philadelphia’s WPPZ, Baltimore’s WWIN, and Richmond’s WKJS.

Known as “The Love King of R&B & Soul,” DeVaughn is a songwriter, entrepreneur, and community advocate. Earlier this year, he released his tenth studio album, The Quiet Storm Lover (Tome Un). DeVaughn also founded the LoveLife Foundation, which works to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities of color.

Urban One Co-President of Audio Eddie Harrell Jr. stated, “We are thrilled to have Raheem DeVaughn join the Urban One family. He brings an energy, talent set, and connection to our audience that is second to none.”

Urban One’s Radio One and Reach Media Senior Vice President of Programming Colby Tyner remarked, “Raheem DeVaughn brings an incredible passion for R&B and a natural ability to connect with people. With The Garden of Love, we’re bringing that connection to nighttime radio through great music and meaningful conversations about love, relationships, and life.”

DeVaughn commented, “Grateful to everyone who has supported my radio journey! This new chapter with Urban One is about building a new nighttime syndicated tradition and truly something special for the listeners. The future is bright, and we’re just getting started!”
