Another year of radio community service is up for accolades. NAB has now opened entries for the 41st annual Crystal Radio Awards, with 50 finalists and 10 winners to be chosen and then honored in Washington, DC, during the NAB State Leadership Conference.
The awards honor community service efforts by radio stations from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. Winners will receive national recognition during a ceremony at the 2027 NAB State Leadership Conference in Washington, DC, on March 2.
This past March, NAB crowned the ten 2026 winners at the State Leadership Conference. Cox Media Group won three awards across two clusters, for Hot 106 (WHJX) and 104.5 WOKV in Jacksonville, FL, and 95.5 WSB (WSB-AM) in Atlanta. The other winners were 98 Rock (WIYY) in Baltimore, WEEI in Boston, 830 WCCO in Minneapolis, KB101 (KBHP) in Bemidji, MN, Kat 103.7 (KXKT) in Omaha, The Eagle 106.9/107.5 (KGLK) in Houston, and Candy 95 (KNDE) in College Station, TX.
NAB member stations must submit an online entry through My NAB detailing their community service efforts from the past year. The deadline for entry submissions is October 31, and finalists will be announced in February.
