Ben Marcotte is heading back to the West Coast. iHeartMedia has named him Program Director of Rock 105.3 (KIOZ) and Classic Rock 101.5 KGB in San Diego, where he’ll oversee programming plus social and digital strategy for both stations.
Marcotte most recently served as Senior Vice President of Programming for the company’s Indianapolis and St. Louis markets, and previously held Program Director posts at Q95 and Indy 103.3 in Indianapolis, as well as 96.5 JACK-FM and ALT 102.9 in Seattle.
iHeart Executive Vice President of Programming Gene Romano said, “Ben’s broad background in rock makes him a perfect fit. He’s always curious and creative on how to keep up with listeners’ always evolving tastes. He’ll bring some full-volume fun with him to the West Coast!”
