The Broadcasters Foundation of America is bringing its Media Mixer series back to Chicago. The nonprofit is bringing its next networking event to the Museum of Broadcast Communications, aligning with the annual Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 7, at the Museum of Broadcast Communications, one day ahead of the 2026 Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Fairmont Chicago. This is the first time the series has traveled to the Windy City since 2023.
Since 2007, the Foundation’s grant-making has grown from $400,000 annually to nearly $2 million, supporting roughly 400 current and former broadcasters each year through two programs: monthly grants for ongoing support during recovery from illness or accident, and one-time emergency grants following disasters.
