Spanish Broadcasting System has promoted David Bailin to General Manager of its New York market operations. Bailin was previously National Sales Manager for the Spanish-language operator, bringing prior experience from Entravision Communications, Sun Broadcast Group, and Westwood One.

He succeeds Maire Mason, who held the New York GM role from 2018 until earlier this year. The New York cluster includes Mega 97.9 (WSKQ) and Amor 93.1 (WPAT). SBS operates 14 additional radio stations across Florida, California, Illinois, and Puerto Rico, and runs AIRE Radio Networks.

SBS COO and General Counsel Richard Lara said, “David has been an invaluable member of the SBS family and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication throughout his tenure. His deep understanding of the New York market and his ability to build strong teams make him the ideal leader for this critical role.”

Bailin commented, “I am honored and excited to take on this new role. SBS has an incredible legacy in the New York market, and I look forward to working with our talented team to continue delivering outstanding content and value to our audiences, advertisers, and community partners.”
