The executive who helped brands connect with audiences around Saturday Night Live and The Today Show is now focused on doing the same for audio, as iHeartMedia names former NBCUniversal executive Jamie Cutburth its new Executive Vice President of Marketing.
Cutburth joins iHeart after more than 11 years at the television giant, where he most recently served as EVP of Marketing and Brand Partnerships, overseeing business-to-business marketing and advertising strategy across NBC’s media ecosystem. Before NBCUniversal, he led brand partnerships at The History Channel and A&E.
In his new role, Cutburth will lead iHeart’s marketing strategy by integrating positioning, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and cross-platform packaging to drive advertiser demand.
iHeart Chief Business Officer Lisa Coffey said, “As we continue to expand iHeart’s unique multi-platform footprint, we’re thrilled to welcome Jamie and his decades of expertise in driving meaningful success for blue chip media companies. Jamie swings big, experiences that inspire action, drive growth, and leave lasting impressions on the audience.”
Cutburth added, “My role sits at the intersection between brand, revenue, content, and culture, and will ensure that iHeart shows up in the market with a clear story and a modern marketing engine. I am excited to bring my years of building successful partnerships and experiences to this team and to a company so clearly focused on innovation and growth.”
