Everybody Media has announced the entry window for the fourth annual International Women’s Podcast Awards. The awards are open to global entries, with the return of a special category for non-English language podcasts introduced in 2023.

The awards, celebrating the achievements of women in podcasting, will be live-streamed from the Institution of Engineering and Technology London: Savoy Place on Wednesday, June 19.

Recognizing talents ranging from solo, self-taught podcasters to members of larger teams in established audio companies, the awards highlight the diversity and influence of podcasts and the wide array of voices and talents involved in both on-air and behind-the-scenes roles.

The submission window opens on Monday, February 29th, with further details on the entry process, categories, and criteria available on the event’s website. An expert panel, including podcasters, journalists, and industry professionals, will judge the entries.

International Women’s Podcast Awards Founder Naomi Mellor commented, “We are thrilled to announce the date and venue for this year’s International Women’s Podcast Awards. Podcasting is a powerful medium that provides a platform for people to tell their story, showcase their work, and have their voice heard.”

“Our goal with these awards remains to raise the voices of women and people of diverse genders in podcasting, to bring together the podcasting community, and to celebrate the exceptional work being done worldwide. We encourage all podcasters to submit their entries and be a part of this event. The IWPA Bursary will also once again be open, offering complimentary entries and tickets to anyone, worldwide.”

IET Head of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Laura Norton added, “We’re delighted to welcome Everybody Media…This female-led organization supporting women and people of diverse genders is very much aligned to our goal of promoting and raising awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion across all sectors. It’s great to see inspiring events like this taking place in our fantastic venue, amplifying and recognizing under-represented voices in the media and audio content creation space.”
