Today, Audacy San Diego’s 97.3 The Fan (KWFN) launches a new midday sports talk show, Annie & Elsten, featuring local broadcast veterans Annie Heilbrunn and Craig Elsten.
Heilbrunn, an Emmy Award-winning host, reporter, and multimedia journalist, started at The San Diego Union-Tribune in 2005, covering the San Diego Padres and Chargers since 2009. She has broadcast experience on Fox Sports San Diego as a sideline/field reporter for Padres broadcasts.
Elsten has 27 years of experience in San Diego sports broadcasting, including roles at XTRA Sports 690 (KLSD-AM), San Diego Sockers, San Diego Gulls, and the Padres Hot Tub podcast. Elsten has also been a play-by-play voice for various sports entities and serves as the PA voice for San Diego Wave FC.
Audacy San Diego Market Manager Michael Valenzuela said, “We’re excited to kick off the next era of our station’s midday programming with the additions of two seasoned broadcasters in Annie and Craig.”
