NRG Media’s B107.3 (KBBK-FM) in Lincoln, NE, kicked off its holiday season in the spirit of giving with some help from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. On November 16th, B107.3 hosted the group for a charity concert which raised $5,759 for a local non-profit.
For every ticket sold to the concert, B107.3 donated $1 to the Tabitha Foundation’s Meals on Wheels program, which benefits the elderly and disabled residents of Lincoln. JP Lauterbach, the Development Director of the Tabitha Foundation, joined KBBK talent on stage for the final donation announcement before the station flipped to all-Christmas right before TSO began to play.
