Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio is kicking off its Tools of the Trade webinar series with an episode titled “Behind the Mic.” Scheduled for September 20 at 2p ET, the 45-minute webinar will feature Angela Yee, Dana Cortez, and Patty Steele. The trio will share insights into their individual career journeys, challenges they’ve faced, and tips for personal branding in the broadcasting sector in 2023.

Angela Yee, a former co-host of The Breakfast Club, recently debuted her own national radio show, Way Up with Angela Yee. Dana Cortez, a nationally syndicated morning show host, has had major market success in Phoenix, Houston, and San Antonio. Patty Steele is a seasoned New York broadcaster who has worked alongside names like Scott Shannon and Elvis Duran and has a new podcast, The Backstory with Patty Steele.
