National Black Radio Hall Of Fame Lists ’23 Class

The National Black Radio Hall of Fame will hold its induction ceremony on October 7, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia. The nominations for this year’s inductees were received earlier, and the electronic ballots have been counted. The event will be organized by Chairperson “Hurricane Dave” Smith, along with Induction Program Administrator Larry Steele.

The 2023 inductees, who will have their names placed in the Museum at Harris Stowe State University, include Terri Avery, Monica May, Denise Williams, Ray Boyd, Marvin Ross, Frank Ski, Erica Campbell, Reggie Gay, Melvin Jones, Sheila Brown, Mike Carter, Christine Cunningham, TJ’sDJ’s, Franchise Record Pool, Jeff Foxx, Juandolyn Stokes, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Big Tigger, DJ Fast Eddie, Bunny “Bubbling” Brown Sugar, Tom Davis Dr. Love, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Tom Joyner, David Linton, and others.

The event will also include special induction recognitions for John Long of the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame and Uvee Hayes. Additionally, the Original 13 Pioneer Award Inductees and several individuals will receive posthumous awards.
