101.3 WMCI, in Mattoon-Charleston, Illinois, recently concluded its annual radiothon to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The two-day event proved to be a great success for the Country broadcaster, raising a total of $128,000.
The Cromwell Group station has been raising money for St. Jude for over 20 years now. The event has consistently raised over $125,000 each year, with the proceeds going directly to St. Jude to help fund its research into childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
