SummitMedia named Joe “JDub” Dobbins as the new Program Director for Star 102.1 (WWST) and Hot 104.5 (WKHT) in Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday. He will also serve as a WWST on-air personality.
Dobbins will lead the imaging, content, promotions, and branding for the two stations, including promotions, streams, on-demand content, digital assets, and social media. He previously spent four years as PD at Alpha Media Lincoln’s KFRX and WDJX (Louisville, KY).
“JDub’s creativity, innovative mindset, and multi-format experience make him perfect to take Star 102.1 to the next level,” said SummitMedia EVP Randy Chase. “Summit is in growth mode. Great talent like JDub is the future of our medium, and we are excited to have him on our team.”
