A Happy Radio Anniversary To Bridges

1

Press Communications New Jersey VP of Programming and morning man Robby Bridges celebrates 30 years in radio this week. Bridges’ career, which led him to his current stations WWZY and WBHX, has spanned many formats and stations along the way.

Starting his career in grade school as a self-described “production dub monkey” at WWBB in Providence, Bridges has worked for CBS Radio, iHeartMedia, Cumulus, Townsquare, Audacy, and MacDonald Garber Broadcasting. Additionally, Robby has been a part of Scott Shannon’s “True Oldies Channel,” heard nationally since 2006.

It was during his time at Detroit AC WDVD, Robby began working with his longtime co-host and now-wife, Rochelle Gagnon.

“I still love it. I’ve never lost the passion for radio, only thing that’s changed is I was always the young kid in the room and now, not so often!” Says Robby, “I’ve been blessed to work with and be both mentored and coached by many of the most incredible people in our business and I couldn’t be more grateful and humbled at my run. The best part today is working with Rochelle each and laughing all morning!”
