iHeartMedia has announced a slate of new voice assistant and automotive integrations for its free iHeartRadio app.

“At iHeart we are committed to providing companionship to our listeners through our massive roster of on-air radio personalities, unmatched lineup of podcast talent and the reach of our local broadcast station brands,” John Vermeer, the executive vice president of digital distribution and platform partnerships for iHeartMedia, said on Tuesday. “Our partnerships with some of the most innovative companies in voice and automotive technology help us continue this mission by ensuring our content is available to consumers where they expect it today and where they will expect it to be in the future.”

The new initiatives include a partnership with mobility artificial intelligence firm Cerence that will allow automakers to tap into iHeartRadio’s portfolio of audio content; an integration into Fisker’s all-electric sports utility vehicles; a partnership with Native Voice for a smart assistant that will allow users of certain electronic devices to control the iHeartRadio app; and integration with TomTom Digital Cockpit and VinFast that allows automobiles with supported devices to display iHeartRadio content on in-dash displays.
