The Georgia Association of Broadcasters has announced its list of Hall of Famers for 2023.
The GAB represents over 500 radio and television stations across the state of Georgia, with the Hall of Fame including those who have made remarkable advancements in the television and radio industries.
The following individuals from the radio industry were inducted into the GAB Hall of Fame for 2023:
- Al Ciraldo, Georgia Tech play-by-play announcer
- Tina Tyus Shaw, a former radio broadcaster who now works at WSAV (Channel 3)
- Tom Barclay, operations manager, Georgia Public Radio
- Scott Slade, morning host, Atlanta’s Morning News, WSB (95.5 FM)
- Rick Caffey, Atlanta market manager, Audacy
The 2023 Hall of Fame banquet will be held on March 15 at the Emory Conference Center Hotel.
