‘Moon Griffon Show’ Returns to Baton Rouge

Guaranty Media says “The Moon Griffon Show” will return to its Baton Rouge talk station WBRP (107.3 FM) next year.

The show will air on WBRP weekdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. local time, a station official said in a press release Thursday.

“We are excited to add Moon Griffon to the Talk 107.3 weekday lineup and increase the amount of local programming,” Gordy Rush, the vice president and general manager of Guaranty Media, said. “The Hayride calls Moon Griffon the State’s most prominent talk host, and we think the timing is perfect with the upcoming elections in 2023.”

“With Moon’s voice and opinions on Louisiana Politics, it just makes sense for him to be on in the Capital City,” said Brian Haldane, Program Director and Morning Show Host for WBRP. “This means we’ll be covering Louisiana for five straight hours from 6 to 11 a.m. every weekday morning.”

WBRP says it will move around a few different programs to accommodate the addition of The Moon Griffon Show. The Fox News Rundown will move to 4 a.m., while The Brian Kilmeade Show will air from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  1. Good move keeping some of B. Kilmeade show. He’s one of the best. The “moon” move has been needed for a long time. It will pay you great dividends.
Love the station, will miss the bent humor of Jay D.
