NAB Announces Content Theater Sessions

NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt will kick off the opening session of NAB Show New York with welcome remarks on October 19. Award-winning film producer and media industry analyst Evan Shapiro will provide the Keynote opening the event.

The lineup of keynote sessions, conversations and award ceremonies will be in the show “Content Theater” area within the “Experiential Zone” on the show floor. The “Content Theater” will be the main hub for the October 19-20, 2022 at the Javits Center in New York City.

“Content Theater sessions will provide a strategic-level view of the opportunities, challenges and issues facing the future of content,” said Chris Brown, EVP/Managing Director of Global Connections and Events. “With our return to an in-person NAB Show New York, we are excited for our attendees to hear firsthand from thought leaders, engage with prospective clients and partners and gain valuable hands-on learning experience.”

Other Content Theater sessions examine Web3’s impact on the business of media, the metaverse from a broadcast lens, OTT trends and shifts in the media landscape. In addition, leading media industry analyst Gordon Borrell will examine emerging opportunities for local TV and radio broadcasters stemming from changes in digital advertising in a session titled “How Local Broadcasters Are Preparing for Third Party Degradation and First Party Data Collection.”
