Vision Multimedia Group’s Sheila Brown, who owns WUFO-AM and the FM translator at 96.5 MHz in Buffalo, has written a letter to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel.
In it, Brown urges her and the FCC’s three Commissioners to approve a rulemaking that would allow program origination on a FM booster.
This is key to GeoBroadcast Solutions’ ZoneCasting technology. FCC approval of the rule change is the linchpin to geo-targeted broadcast radio.
