25 high school and college broadcasters completed the summer session of Camp Broadcast in Chicago. Camp Broadcast is a masterclass for high school and college-aged aspiring journalists and broadcasters.
“We had guest instructors from ESPN, WGN, NBC, Fox, iHeartRadio,” said Sam Alex, Founder/Director. “We went on a field trip to Audacy Chicago headquarters where our tour was led by Marci Braun, Regional Brand Manager and Sean “Sonic” Leckie 104.3 Jams afternoon host.”
The session also featured a benefit concert with Canaan Smith, Ray Fulcher, Abby Anderson and Darryl Worley. The campers had a chance to interview the artists on the red carpet before the show.
