David Allan Boucher, who has hosted WMJX’s Bedtime Magic in Boston for 40 years, is retiring. His final week on the air, June 26 – July1 at Magic 106.7, will be filled with special programming.
“40 years is a long time and I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend that time at one dial position, one time slot, on one great radio station,” said Boucher. “I’m very grateful to the generations of friends who spend so many years with us every night. Without them…there wouldn’t have been a show.”
The host, who has never intentionally shown his face, was the first voice on the station when it went on the air in 1982.
