Vox Media’s flagship daily news podcast, Today Explained, has been added to two more public radio stations. Distributed by WNYC Studios, the program is now on KCRW in LA and WEKU in Eastern Kentucky.
“The KCRW audience is curious, connected and drawn to the most interesting stories, not just the most immediate,” said Evan George, KCRW Content Director of News. “Today, Explained fits our approach to newsy storytelling with heart.”
Hosted by Sean Rameswaram and Noel King the program is now on more than 15 radio stations nationwide. The program jumped on terrestrial radio last month when the distribution agreement with WNYC Studios was finalized.
