Galaxy Media and Twitch are teaming up with Syracuse University to give students a hands-on sports programming experience. The Newhouse Sports Media Center has created “Newhouse at Night,” a daily sports radio broadcast hosted by students.
“As a proud Newhouse alum, nothing gives me greater pleasure than providing a first job in commercial radio and streaming media to the next generation of Newhouse broadcasters,” said Levine.
“We are thrilled to partner with Galaxy Media and ‘Cuse Sports Talk,’” said Stomski, Director Sports Media Cent. “This opportunity gives our students a platform to get hands-on experience on a big stage. They will have access to player and coach interviews along with feedback from Ed Levine and his staff.”
