New Country 93.1 WDRQ-FM Detroit is presenting a free concert to help make Christmas a bit brighter for Motor City children. The station will start giving away tickets November 1 for the December 9 New Country Acoustic Christmas concert.
Winners and their guests will be asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to the concert. Hundreds of tickets will go to winners of the contest that runs through December 9.
“We are so excited to bring three amazing Country artists to Detroit to play for our listeners. New Country Acoustic Christmas will hopefully be the first of many shows that put the very best that Nashville has to offer in front of our growing Country audience,” said David Corey, Director FM Programming, Cumulus Detroit. “And the fact that Toys for Tots benefits from the generosity of the artists and our listeners is the absolute icing on the cake.”
The concert will feature Dustin Lynch, Carly Pearce and Morgan Wade.
