WYPR 88.1 FM, Baltimore, has been honored by two industry associations for its news and public affairs programming. The station received a total of 15 awards.
Baltimore’s NPR Station picked up 13 Chesapeake Associated Press Awards and two Public Media Journalists Association (PMJA) awards for work done in 2020.
There were 28 news organizations from Washington D.C., Maryland and Delaware honored with 132 awards from CAPBA. The PMJA presented 203 awards to 88 organizations.
