Beasley Media Group has unveiled a special 60th Anniversary logo in celebration of the company’s six decades in broadcasting. The company will be celebrating the year-long event leading up to the actual anniversary day in December both on the air and online.
It was on December 2, 1961, as a young High School Principal at the time, George Beasley launched WPYB-AM in Benson, North Carolina with the vision of providing a voice for the voiceless in the local community.
Today, Beasley Media Group has 64 radio properties located in 15 large and medium markets across the country.
