The Current on Minnesota Public Radio is adding Maddie Schwappach and Zeke Salo to its staff. Both have been part of the local music program in various roles over the years.
“I’m thrilled to have these two passionate music fans join our team at The Current,” said David Safar, Managing Director. “We’ll be sharing more soon on when you can hear Maddie and Zeke on the air.”
Schwappach is the former music director at the University of Minnesota’s Radio K; she has also been a contributor to The Current and is a former intern at the station. Salo worked at Minneapolis radio stations Go 95.3 and 96.3, both on the air and behind the scenes, interviewing artists, producing content and coordinating promotions.
