WCKM-FM, Glens Falls, NY Operation Santa Claus, is feeding and providing winter clothing to needy families. The annual live radio auction netted more than $10,000 during the four hour event.
“Thanks to the $12,000 plus dollars we raised during our Morning Club, Operation Santa Claus auction, much needed food and clothing will be going to families in need in 30 school districts in our coverage area,” said co-host Pete Cloutier.
The Regional Radio Group station, along with sister stations WCQL-FM and WWSC-AM, also conducted their annual toy drive. A thousand families in the school districts each got a toy they really wanted, valued at $30 each.
