GM Bob Lawrence tells us that his new morning show duo of Jenn and Bus on Y101 in Jackson, MS both tested positive for COVID after only one month on the job. Here’s what happened to get them back on the air.
This week, while still under quarantine in a hotel room, having just moved to a new city, they returned to the airwaves.
Lawrence said his Chief Engineer put together all the necessary equipment, computers and microphones. “I then dropped it off at their hotel door and ran.”
The couple then talked through the setup on the phone and were back on the air Wednesday without any problems.
Lawrence says, “We are happy to report that Jenn and Bus have begun to feel better and their COVID survival stories have been very compelling.”
