Power 93.5 (KDGS-FM) morning co-host Greg “The Hitman” Williams is expected to be back on the air soon. He was recently released from the hospital where he battled COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Williams said he noticed some symptoms after returning from vacation several weeks ago, tested positive and started self-quarantine. Williams told 3KSN News that the symptoms got worse and he ended up in the hospital.
“Next thing I know, I’m being wheeled into the COVID unit. They said ‘we are admitting you right now.’ You have zero energy. You’re completely fatigued with this thing. It just sucks the life out of you.”
“It’s worse than anything I ever saw reported or read about,” said Williams. “It’s worse and only a person who’s experienced that can really know what that is.”
Williams is expected to return to work next week.
