Sports Radio 680 The Fan will be the flagship station for a high school football scoreboard show. The Dickey Broadcasting Company station, Southern Sports Today Network, along with the GHSA and the Georgia News Network have agreed to a production partnership.
The show will be hosted by 680 The Fan’s Friday Night Football staff and will include the latest scores and interviews with coaches and play by play announcers from metro Atlanta and across the Peach State.
The program will take over for the popular network show hosted for more than 18 seasons by Tommy Palmer. Palmer stepped away from the mic to battle lung cancer.
The show will air Friday nights 10 PM to Midnight starting September 4th. It will be distributed in partnership with Georgia News Network and will be heard on affiliate stations statewide. It will be streamed online at Southern Sports Today.
