New York Public Radio has tapped the private sector for a new Chief Marketing Officer. Ayesha Ahmad joins NYPR from a direct-to-consumer textiles and home decor brand.
Ahmad will be responsible for building all NYPR brands and driving membership. NYPR is the parent company of WNYC and WQXR, WNYC Studios, the online news and lifestyle aggregator the Gothamist and The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space.
Ahmad was Chief Digital Officer and GM of e-commerce for Chilewich. At NYPR she will report to President/CEO Goli Sheikholeslami.
