The NAB’s Crystal Radio Awards recognize stations for their year-round commitment to community service. Of the 10 winners announced Wednesday, Hubbard took home three and Cox grabbed a pair. Here’s the full winners list.

Hubbard’s 3 winners were WREW-FM and WKRQ-FM, both in Cincinnati and KRWM-FM in Seattle.

After the dominating performance, Hubbard CEO Ginny Morris told Radio Ink,  “Supporting the needs of communities is a cornerstone of what our local teams do on a daily basis.  While that recognition is not why we do that work…having it recognized by our peers and the NAB is an honor for all of us.”

WSUN-FM in Tampa and KRMG-FM in Tulsa were the Cox winners.

Also taking home trophies were Cumulus’ KUBL-FM in Salt Lake, KVTY-FM in Lewiston, Idaho, which is owned by IdaVend Broadcasting, Howard University’s WHUR-FM in Washington, D.C., WDNS-FM in Bowling Green, which is owned by Daily News Broadcasting and the lone AM in the winners circle was Alpha’s WSGW-AM in Saginaw.

Five-time NAB Crystal Radio Award winning station KCVM-FM also received the Crystal Heritage Award.

It was the 33rd year for the Crystal Radio Awards which are typically handed out at the NAB show in Las Vegas. This year they were announced during NAB Show Express.
