WARM 106.9 (KRWM-FM), Hubbard Broadcasting, Seattle is bringing a special type of warmth to families in the Puget Sound area. The radio station and local drug store chain, Bartell Drugs, collected more than 36,000 stuffed bears during the 31st annual event.

“This year’s Teddy Bear Patrol may be the most memorable. WARM 106.9 listeners and Bartell’s patrons came together during a unique national crisis and gave their time and resources to bring joy to others. We salute the givers and look forward to helping children throughout the Puget Sound in 2020.” said Ron Harrell, Brand and Content Manager for WARM 106.9.

All 68 Bartell’s locations participated in the donation drive and for every bear purchased, Bartell’s matched the contribution, bear for bear. The campaign kicked off March 1st.

Teddy Bears are donated to Northwest area first responders, EMTs and police officers, as well as distributed to any and all organizations focusing on children and families, including foster programs, shelters, hospitals, counselors, schools, and more.
