Some radio stations are bringing back Christmas Music in an effort to lift spirits in this time of COVID-19. Stations in San Diego and St. Louis have started offering the holiday tunes.

102.5 KEZK, St. Louis switched to a “Quarantine Christmas” format March 20. 96.5 KYXY, San Diego is offering Christmas tunes 7 days a week Middays, Noon to 1 PM and evenings, 6 PM to Midnight.

The stations, both owned by Entercom, are doing this as people are putting up Christmas lights and watching Christmas movies on TV as more listeners are staying home during the pandemic.
