Charlie Morgan Leaves Emmis

In another big management change in New York City, Emmis announces that after a decade with the company, Charlie Morgan is leaving to work for another company. That other company has not been announced yet.

Morgan has been running New York for Emmis for the past four years. Before that he ran Indianapolis for 6.

While Emmis searches for a new Market Manager in New York, President Pat Walsh will run the two stations (WBLS-FM and WQHT-FM).

Last July Emmis formed a new public company called Mediaco Holding with investment form Standard General. Mediaco purchased WBLS-FM and WQHT-FM for $91.5 Million.
