The folks at Progressive clearly appreciate the value of advertising with radio. The insurance giant is once again atop the Media Monitors list of leading advertisers on radio around the nation, running a total of 49,677 ads last week. After “rising from the dead” last week, The Home Depot held fast to second position with 47,130 spots. Rounding out the top five were Vicks (38,757), L’Oréal (37,608), and Indeed (36,301). Meanwhile, GEICO, another of radio’s perennial leading advertisers, slipped one place from fifth to sixth with 35,005 ads.
