Progressive Takes Another Turn On Top

The insurance giant has been sharing the top spot on the Media Monitors list of radio’s leading national advertisers with Vicks for five weeks now. This time round, Progressive ran 59,107 ads. Vicks slipped to fourth place from first with 40,740 spots. Perennial radio-advertising heavyweight GEICO moved up to second from third, running 2,000 more spots this week for a total of 43,228. Rounding out the top five were newcomer L’Oréal (42,272) and Seriously (39,367) which were third and fifth respectively. The only other new entry in the Top 10 was Walmart, which was barely edged for fifth place, running 39,300 ads.
