Galaxy Media Partners and Syracuse University are combining for a new 24/7 video streaming network, Twitch.TV/CuseSportsTalk. The network will give fans a chance to talk SU sports regardless of their location.
“Initially, ‘Cuse Sports Talk will consist of cameras in all of our ESPN radio studios, which will take our locally focused programming to a national and international platform via Twitch.TV,” said Ed Levine, President and CEO of Galaxy Media. “We will also be creating customized programming just for ‘Cuse Sports Talk.”
“To partner with Galaxy Media and develop an interactive platform which Syracuse fans worldwide can listen to, chat about, and stay connected to Orange Athletics underscores our continued effort to use the most technologically sophisticated efforts to reach our fans and enhance their experience,” said Syracuse University Director of Athletics John Wildhack.
Twitch has apps on a variety of devices, including phones, computers, PlayStation 4, FireSticks, and Amazon Prime, whose members have access to Twitch Prime as part of their Amazon membership.
