Wesleyan University’s community radio station, WESU-FM, will wrap up a year-long anniversary celebration with a community event Sunday, December 8. The Free Form Jubilee will feature eclectic music, poetry, speakers, and food.

The event, at the Usdan Student Center on the Middletown campus, is free and open to the public. Organizers are using the event to collect nonperishable food items for a local food pantry and are hoping for donations to the station’s winter pledge drive.

WESU is a noncommercial radio station founded in 1939 that offers a variety of music genres and coverage of local, social, and political issues.
