Project Sanctuary Gets A Boost From KQMT

Twelve hours of outreach, interviews with veterans, plus rock & roll saw KQMT-FM/Denver (99.5 The Mountain), gathered over $24,000 in donations to benefit Colorado veteran’s organization Project Sanctuary.

The nonprofit organization, founded in 2007 by Heather Ehle, combines counseling, education, self-development, and recreational therapy to change how military families heal. Project Sanctuary helps hundreds of families every year through therapeutic retreats across the country and a comprehensive family support program

Exceeding its 2018 total, the funds will provide basic needs like groceries, and gas cards to aid in transportation, as well as assisting families to attend the six-day therapeutic retreat.
