iHeartMedia Louisville announced Tuesday community partnerships with 12 nonprofit organizations that fall under the umbrella theme of Kids: Heart of Kentuckiana. Beginning October 1, iHeartMedia Louisville will support the mission of these organizations through its stations’ assets, including on-air, on stations’ websites, and on social media.
Each community partner will create a three-month marketing campaign based on their specific needs, ranging from seeking volunteers and raising visibility, to increasing donations. iHeartMedia Louisville’s Local Advisory Board, comprised of over 25 community leaders, educators, and entrepreneurs, selected the recipients through an extensive application process.
“We are thrilled to partner with iHeartMedia Louisville in the coming year,” said Laura Brock, VP of Development at the Center for Women and Families. “iHeartMedia is helping us expand awareness of our services to the individuals and family members who need us most. We feel certain these campaigns will generate further awareness, volunteerism, and financial support of the important work we do.”
Last year, iHeartMedia Louisville awarded in-kind media campaigns to three community partners: Family Community Clinic, 2NOT1, and New Roots Fresh Market. Following its three-month campaign with iHeartMedia, Family Community Clinic reported a 400% increase in donations along with a 270% increase in volunteer applications.
