Fans of the Ben and Skin Show on 105.3 The Fan know the hosts’ passion for beer. According to the Dallas Morning News, Ben Rogers and Jeff “Skin” Wade are now co-owners of a Dallas-Fort Worth area brewery.
Scheduled to open in 2020, Rollertown Beerworks in Celina will take over about 7,000 square feet of warehouse space and feature a taproom and a seven-barrel brewhouse featuring lagers and small-batch experimental beers. The temporary location will add a barbecue menu and become a fully fledged brew pub in 2021.
“Like a lot of things that we do, we tend to balance each other out in positive ways,” Wade told the newspaper. “This is just kind of a natural extension of what we do on the radio show, which is bring people together with like interests and like minds.”
Last year, the duo embarked on an event series called the Brew Crew Tour, where fans of the show were invited to join the hosts at different taprooms in the area.
