The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group and Nielsen Music are now accepting applications for the 3rd Annual MIW-Nielsen Music Mentoring Program. The program is a collaborative effort that creates greater opportunities for women across the country who are interested in management positions in music broadcast programming. This year’s application window, which opened August 7, will close Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
The one-year mentorship program matches a female programming candidate with key mentors from throughout the broadcast industry, including the MIW Radio Group and Nielsen Music. The program includes a scholarship to attend the 2019 Radio Show and is available to one female program director, assistant program director, and/or music director from any music format. The winner will be announced at the 2019 Radio Show to be held September 24-26 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.
