Total Q2 revenue came in at $2 billion with SiriusXM at $1.5 billion and Pandora clocking in at $441 million. Pandora’s overall Q2 revenue was up 15% thanks to an 18% increase in subscriber revenue ($135 million). Pandora’s ad revenue was up 13% in the quarter ($306 million). Pro-forma the company grew 9% and gross profit was up 7%.
SiriusXM’s self-pay subs hit 29.3 million, 290,000 new self-pay subscribers were added in the quarter. Total net subscriber additions in the second quarter were 174,000, resulting in more than 34.3 million total SiriusXM subscribers at the end of the period.
