It’s becoming the new thing. Christmas in July is growing in popularity, with Toledo’s 101.5 The River the latest station to join the trend. On Thursday (July 25), the station is broadcasting continuous holiday music from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Featured artists will include Mariah Carey, Andy Williams, Brenda Lee, Johnny Mathis, Burl Ives, and Bing Crosby.
Listener prizes, free snow-cones, and an ultimate sleigh ride will also be highlights of the day. Listeners can visit The River’s website for the official sleigh ride route and to watch Woodell and Santa in action.
