SRN Launches New Week-Long Series on Religion

1

Beginning Monday Salem Radio Network’s 24/7 News service will air a week-long special series: “America’s Fight to Preserve Religious Freedom.” The broadcast will focus on threats by secular activists and politicians to drive Christianity and other religions out of the public square in America.

This series will feature interviews with Charles Chaput, Archbishop of Philadelphia (right, pictured with SRN V.P./News & Talk Programming Tom Tradup); Michael Farris, President & CEO of Alliance Defending Freedom; Texas attorney general Ken Paxton; Daily Wire talk host Michael Knowles and David French, senior writer at National Review.

Tradup said, “From gender-bending activists to outright hostility by states and local governments, religious freedom in America is under more attack in 2019 than at any other time in our history. Our series will shine the white-hot light of public scrutiny on the very real dangers facing one of our most fundamental rights as American citizens. And we hope it will fuel a national dialogue on how men and women of faith can mobilize to reverse recent trends which have created hostility toward faith-based businesses and organizations here is the United States…which nevertheless remains the beacon of religious freedom around the globe.”

“America’s Fight to Preserve Religious Freedom” will air on 2,200+ SRN News affiliates from coast to coast. SRN News based in Washington, D.C. is a division of Salem Media Group.

  1. As seen from here:
“America’s Fight to Preserve Religious Freedom.” seems more like “America’s Religious Right’s Fight to attack America’s More Secular Left.”
Presenting like victims is not a new tactic.
I have heard it described, however, as “obviously cheap, superficial and disgusting”.
    Would you not agree, Senator?
