A new multiyear deal will see Entercom’s 560 WQAM Sports Radio (WQAM-AM) in Miami remain the broadcast radio home of the NHL’s Florida Panthers, airing all Panthers games through the end of the 2021-2022 season. In addition to game broadcasts, there will be weekly player interviews, a coach’s show featuring head coach Joel Quenneville, a weekly in-season Panthers Insider show, in-season Panthers’ Wednesdays, and additional ancillary coverage including a one-hour preseason special and a two-hour live NHL Draft broadcast.

“As South Florida’s Iconic Sports Station, WQAM is committed to being the go-to home for Miami’s devoted sports fans,” said Keriann Worley, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the Florida Panthers and are committed to providing fans with comprehensive coverage of their hometown team.”

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Entercom and 560 WQAM as our Panthers’ flagship,” said Shawn Thornton, Senior Vice President, Florida Panthers. “From the Radio.com app to the dial, our fans know where to find Panthers hockey and Panthers talk.”
